Great lakes boat building school began in 2006, when a group of enthusiasts for the les cheneaux islands area, with its impressive history of building wooden boats learned that there was no wooden boat building school in the great lakes region.. 2018 summer workshops have been completed and are now closed. no further registration will be accepted. summer 2019 workshops will be listed here in december of 2018. _____ if you are interested in attending one of our build your own boat, please use the menu below or call glbbs at (906)484-1081 to reserve your spot. build your own boat workshops.
